O-So Pure ultraviolet disinfection systems provide continuous disinfection of dental UV waterlines to protect you and your patients from exposure to all pathogens-bacteria, protozoa, fungi. Each O-So Pure water purification system is proven to control the growth of microorganisms, giving you water disinfection in complete compliance with ADA and CDC pure water standards.

O-So Pure offers a range of UV water purification systems in different configurations, allowing you to find one that exactly answers the needs of your practice. All systems are economical and easily installed, with low annual maintenance cost.

DWS-POE: This point-of-entry whole-building UV water purification system provides disinfection of all water as it enters the building, or an office suite. Monitoring systems and self-cleaning filtration technology make this system trouble-free. 15 gallons of bacteria-free water per minute; only once-yearly service recommended.

DWS-008: This reverse-osmosis and UV disinfection system is available in three sizes with 4, 10, or 14 gallon water tanks to conform with the size of your dental unit water line system. Provides UV water purification direct to treatment rooms, or may be used to fill chair-mounted water bottles.100 gallons of ultra-pure water per day; twice-yearly service recommended.

DWS-008 + DWSDDI-10: An optional deionization system, used in combination with the DWS-008 reverse osmosis and UV water purification system, provides pure deionized quality water for autoclaves. Perfect for very hard water or other problems, or where ultra-pure water is needed. This combined system provides water of higher purity than delivered bottled water-and it can save you money; separate water quality monitors, service faucets, and tanks for each system; twice-yearly service recommended.

DWS-SADI: Our Stand-Alone Deionization System, supplying pure D.I. water for all your sterilization equipment needs, directly from municipal water. Perfect for very hard water or other problems, or where ultra-pure water is needed. This system provides water of higher purity than delivered bottled water-and it can save you money. Separate water quality monitor, service faucet, and water storage tank.

DWS-DPU: This unit provides disinfection of dental unit water lines for models DWS-POE, DWS-008, and DWSMTR-20. Air pressure forces disinfectant liquid through the waterlines and dries the lines after purge. A key feature of the purging unit is that it will save on the cost of disinfectant using air pressure, not water.

Dental Unit Water Line Disinfectant Systems

When our water purification systems are installed new, they provide continuous disinfection of the waterlines. We recommend disinfection of new water lines to remove construction debris. When adding an O-So Pure water purification system to an existing DUWL system, we recommend flushing the waterlines with clean water and then running a disinfectant through before starting up our water purification system. We also recommend testing the water bacteria level using a water bacteria test kit. Some disinfectants may require several treatments to remove high levels of bacteria from the waterlines. And of course, when you open the ultraviolet disinfection system up for any reason (for example to change the filters), it is good practice to run a disinfectant to remove any contamination that may have entered during the procedure.
